• During the mix of his next album, temporary title " Music From Source ", will be released on Plus Loin Nocturne label, he prepares his participation for the next album of Laïka Fatien, with beside him Gregory Hutchinson (d), Robert Glasper (p) and Darryl Hall (b).

• New album, double live, "Fool Time" on label Naïve, as coleader with Baptiste Trotignon, and with Dré Pallemaerts & Darryl Hall David El-Malek has just recorded the second disc of Christophe Dal Sasso nonet "Exploration" (Nocturne), released March 2006. He's working on the writing of his next disc " Time Remembered ", from the duet until Big Band, with some songs co-arranged with Christophe Dal Sasso.

• The exit of the disc in co-leader with Baptiste Trotignon was released on March 22, 2005. For the occasion, one will find them in the broadcast " Jazz of Heart, Jazz of Pike " on France Musique on March 21, 2005 at 23.00, and in " The Madman of King " on France Inter from 11. 00 till 13. 00 on March 23, 2005.

• The release of the disc with Pierre de Bethmann 5tet is foreseen in the same period, the end of March, to a new label " Les Disque Deluxe ". For this occasion, three concerts are foreseen in Sunside and one in New Morning

• The recording of the second disc of Pierre de Bethmann Ilium quintet made, he has just ended the mixing in the studio Ferber of Paris of a common project with Baptiste Trotignon. Release foreseen at the beginning of 2005.

• In sideman fusionnel from the very beginning, David will record, in the Studio Recall of Pompignan, in October the second disk of the Pierre de Bethmamn Ilium quintet, release was foreseen in the first quarter 2005. We shall find Vincent Artaud on bass, Franck Agulhon on drums and Michael Felberbau on guitar.

• Release was foreseen in the first half of the year 2005, David is going to find Baptist Trotignon, pianist on his first disk " Liveat cafe des Arts", but this time in co-leader. The disk will go out in Naïve label, with a directory of original compositions of each of the leaders and one or two occasions.. The end of October will be recorded in the Studio Ferber of Paris … "

• In Auditorium, David El-Malek play in front of more than 2 000 persons, played a part of his symphonic project accompanied with the National Orchestra of Lyon, directed by Wayne Marshall. There was on piano Pierre de Bethmann, on drums Laurent Robin and Gildas Boclé on bass. It will made to realize a clip supervised by same Gildas Boclé, and by means of SELMER and VANDOREN. • Soon a news letter special David El-Malek and the Orchestra of Lyon! After several working years, the DEM Orchestra, "Music From Source" will be interpreted for the first time in the Auditorium of Lyon, France. The recording and the international distribution remain to come. (February, 2004)

• Preparation of the pre-production of its next album foreseen in the recording for the end of year 2004 and finalisation of the writing. (January, 2003)

• David will be interviewed by Alex Dutilh in his broadcast "Jazz of Heart, Jazz of Pike" on France Music on Sunday, December 7th, 2003 at 6:00 pm. (December 2003)

• You can hear the music of David on the radio France Music on November 16th and December 7th in the program " The Jazz, probably " at 9:30 pm. (october 2003)

• David will be interviewed by Jean-Michel Proust on TSF about the release of his disc, during Jazz Magazine, the broadcast at 30/10/03 on 7:00 pm. (October, 2003)

• After two provisional titles, the album of David will be called "Talking Cure". Release on October 24, 2004, label Cristal Records, distributed by Harmonia Mundi. (July 2003)

• Just outing of the Studio 26 of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, David began the mixing of his new album, previously "Number Three" and renamed "Fall". We shall find a composition recorded for the first time on a soprano Selmer SIII there. (In May, 2003)

• David's next disc will go out around september 2003 on Cristal Record and will be distributed by Harmonia Mundi. The recording will made in mid-April with new quartet consisted of Pierre de Bethmann (piano), Rémi Vignolo ( bass) and Franck Agulhon ( battery). (04/03/03)

• For the recording of his next disc in April, David chose Studio 26 of Antibes Juan les Pins, where Frederic Bétin combines the talent and the kindness. After Philippe Gaillot, of Recall Studio of Pompignan, with which a third project is being studied, the Parisian exile seems to be a constant to obtain a group dynamics and an optimal osmosis.(02/04/03)

• Musician without border, it has just taken part in two meetings of studio. For English DJ (Rae & Christian), a sample of Tania Maria very accompanies a chorus by David on a version club and dance. • For the weekly emission of May 31, the Jazz Club of France Musique accomodates the David's quartet, on line of the Duc des lombards of Paris. Of return of a round in the South-west of France, it is tested with rhythmic modified: Jean Daniel Botta with the bass and Philippe Soirat with the battery, who replaces exceptionally Laurent Robin.(05/05/02)

• It is in January 2003 that David will go again to the studio "+ 30" in Paris, in order to participate to the making of Laïka Fatien's last record. By May, Pierre de Bethmann will go to see the wonderful singer, exiled in Madrid, to bring her his extraordinary talent. (04/25/2002)

• Gone for the south of France last week, near Montpellier, David has settled for three days' recording at the "Recall studio". He took part in Pierre de Bethmann's new recording with his quintet Ilium as a sideman. After touring more than 2 years, here comes at last the achievement of a high quality musical project. The musical requirements of this quintet will certainly meet the high virtuosity of each musician. He knew this studio, since he recorded his second CD "Organza". In that session, David swapped his metal mouthpiece for an ebonite Otto Link 7... (4/20/2002)
